Elementary Events
These special events occur every year in elementary school:
- Christmas program (alternates between grades 1-3 and grades 4-5).
- Spring program (alternates between grades 1-3 and grades 4-5 which does a civil war program connected to their social studies curriculum).
- Scripps spelling bee (grades 3-5).
- Read all-day.
- An end of year PreK program.
- An end of the year Kindergarten program.
- A parent night focusing on some aspect of our curriculum.
- Parent-teacher conferences happen twice per year.
Events that occur every other year:
- Heritage week--celebrating heritages represented by students at RCES.
- Star Lab/Astronomy week.
- Book publishing.
- Fine arts fair.
- 4th/5th wax museum.
- Science fair (3rd-5th).
