I am an alumna of Rehoboth Christian School and glad I could return home. I am a mother to three daughters who all graduated from Rehoboth as well. I grew up in Window Rock, AZ where my parents led the United Methodist Church and my father was the pastor before retiring in 1996. My family is originally from Shiprock, NM, and I am Maiideshgizhnii born for Oze Tachinii.

After graduating from Rehoboth, I attended Diné College and the University of New Mexico but after marrying my husband, who was serving in the US Navy, we moved to San Diego, CA.  I continued my studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communications with an emphasis in Media Management and minored in American Indian Studies from San Diego State University.  I am also a 2020 alumna of Gonzaga University. I graduated with a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a concentration in Change Leadership. Currently, I am a graduate student in a doctoral program at the University of New Mexico within the Native American Leadership in Education (NALE) cohort.

My family returned home in 2014 and it has been gratifying to return to the very organization that helped mold me and encouraged my leadership potential. I am so glad to talk about my personal experience as a student and a parent to other potential parents interested in Rehoboth. I really enjoy helping families and students with achieving their future goals. I have worked as an academic advisor with first-year and first-generational students and want to see our RCS students succeed not only in college but with their life plans.
