I was born and raised in a small community on the Navajo reservation about an hour north of Rehoboth. I am a graduating alumna of Rehoboth Christian School. I began attending Rehoboth in the second grade and lived in the residential homes until a bus route to my community was established a year later. After graduating from Rehoboth High School, I attended the University of New Mexico where I graduated with my Bachelors degree.
I currently live in Gallup with my family and have returned to Rehoboth after 12 years of working in the public schools. Returning to Rehoboth as an educator is something I honestly never thought would happen. God equips us for His plan to bring us to a place where I have to honestly say 'this was all a God thing’.
Working in the SALT program has allowed me the opportunity to serve and support our students for their success here at Rehoboth. My deep hope is that ALL students would learn to see their worth according to our creator, that they were created in the image of God with a purpose that only they can fulfill.
