I came to Rehoboth Christian School in 2016 from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I grew up in Lancaster and stayed in the area for college as well. I graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a degree in education, as well as a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. I first visited Rehoboth while in college, as my school brought a number of students to Rehoboth to volunteer in the middle school classrooms for a two-week period. I remember how much that visit impacted me and how much I wanted to work at a school like Rehoboth. Following my graduation from LBC, I took a leap of faith and applied to Rehoboth and was blessed to be hired as a social studies teacher in the high school. Rehoboth's unique community is why I love my position here. The community here that encompasses not just staff and students, but parents and the greater Gallup community as well, is so special to me and is why I choose to continue at Rehoboth every year. As a teacher in this community, my deep hope for myself and my students is that we use our calling as unique image-bearers of Christ to bring shalom to chaos in the world around us.
