Kelly Touchine

“Small town, big dreams.” So to say; I was born and raised in Gallup, NM. I come from a mutli-cultral background. I am a wife, daughter, sister, and mother; I have seven beautiful children who are now flourishing as young adults. I am a graduate of Gallup High and married to my high school sweetheart.
I graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, California and received my degree in pre-Nursing. In 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, I joined my oldest son and attended Navajo Technical University, where I earned another degree in Office Management.
It has always been my passion to serve the people. In 2006, I served on the Navajo Board of Education for 12 years. Taking this position changed my perspective on education. My agenda continues to serve the children because they are our future. With all the experience that I have encountered, I am blessed to be given the opportunity to serve the wonderful people and students here at Rehoboth.
