Lead Salt Teacher

I grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin with parents and my three younger siblings.  I graduated from Calvin University in 2016 with a bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education.  As a student teacher, my first placement was at Church Rock Elementary (now Catherine A. Miller Elementary).  I came down to Gallup in January of 2016 and fell in love with this area, people, and community! When my semester ended, I requested to stay, and was able to finish my last semester of student teaching here at Rehoboth that fall. As that semester finished up, a job opened up at Indian Hills Elementary to be their Special Ed. Teacher. I worked there for four and a half years before coming to Rehoboth in August of 2021.

I absolutely love being a part of Rehoboth’s growing SALT program.  Every single person is created in God’s image and being able to share that message with students and families is my favorite part of working at Rehoboth.  Helping ALL students achieve success and growth is so important and I am honored to be a part of that.  My deep hope is for students to feel loved, belonging, and valued and from that grow and pursue their God-given gifts and talents.
