I came to Rehoboth Christian School in 2014 to teach PreK after graduating from Calvin University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My hometown is Lynden, Washington where I grew up hearing about Rehoboth in church and school. When I heard about an opening in Rehoboth’s PreK program, I felt God’s call to move out here and become a part of the Rehoboth community. I taught in the PreK classroom for 8 years until I took the position of Director in 2022. PreK is often the first experience families have with Rehoboth, so I enjoy introducing them to the community that I have grown to love. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work in such a diverse and supportive school where relationships with students and families is a priority. My favorite part of Early Childhood Education is the curiosity and excitement our students have for learning.
