I am the second grade teacher at Rehoboth Christian School and have been for the last 10 years. I absolutely love it here! The atmosphere here at our school is different, we’re a close-knit community of staff and families. It is the trusting relationship among the staff and students that makes our school so unique. Teaching elementary students the building blocks of reading, math and all the other subjects is rewarding. Teaching children this young is refreshing; they have a love of learning spurred by their curious natures which makes my job the best in the world! . I especially love Bible class and taking time to read through God’s word together.
I live in St. Micheals, which is adjacent to Window Rock, Arizona where I taught at a small Christian school before coming to Rehoboth. For a few years before arriving at Rehoboth, I was very privileged to homeschool my own beautiful children, Kyle, Charles, and Haelee. Eventually, we all came to Rehoboth and it has become our school. Two are in college now and one is going onto his graduate level, but my husband and I are just as busy as ever. We’re both pursuing our master’s level education and it really is exhilarating and refreshing to be learning once again! I hope to attain my Ed Leadership degree and put my license to good use as an effective, caring administrator in the very near future.
