My worldview is similar to the Christian worldview. I believe the Christian faith but I do not believe in separating into denominations. This adds tension between groups when we all believe in Jesus Christ. I live my life very different then other Christians because I do not agree with going to church. So many churches judge people that I want to find the right church for me. I would rather use my Bible as my church because I know what is said is the truth and it came from God.
I believe that human beings were put on this earth to protect it and serve God. We are little compared to the universe and we should thank God for giving us the chance to be with him. We live on an earth where people only care about themselves and do not understand that their actions with hurt them later on in life. I do not want to live my life with past mistakes catching up to me.
At one point in everyone’s life, they ask what will happen to them after death. As a Christian, I believe in the judgment. I believe in a heaven and hell. Humans have learned have learned what is right and wrong through generations of mistakes. God first taught Adam and Eve right and wrong. They knew that and passed it on. In our society today, it has become okay to do wrong. Our society even praises wrong doing. As Christians, we need to remember that God gave us the opportunity to do right and he will be the only judge.
My worldviews really helps me with my interactions with others. My friendships are on a good Christian foundation. We are always supporting each other and making sure we stay on the right path. God gave me friends so I could learn how to have a personal relationship. I didn’t have a personal relationship with God because I couldn’t understand what a personal relationship was. Now that I have a personal relationship with God, I can have better relationships on earth.
My Christian worldview has really helped me with my dating relationship. If I would base my relationship on what I see on earth, then no good relationship would work. I have to have God first in my life before anyone else. A good relationship will last if god is part of the relationship. Even though God tells us to spread our religion, I feel like I need to understand what I believe before I try and teach others. I am not comfortable sharing my faith because I am always afraid of being wrong. I would like people to see my faith in how I represent myself. I do not like seeing people on T.V. call themselves Christians and then fight and disrespect people. I do not want Christians to be portrayed as that.
