Well I grew up in a Christian family. My family believes strongly in God. But me, I didn't really care to grow in my relationship with God or give him thanks. When I lost my grandpa i was mad with God questioning him. I was really angry with him because i was close to my grandpa; he lived with us so very time i can home from school he was always there sitting on the couch smiling. Then when I lost my cousin-brother I didn't care to believe that there was a God who cared about me.  The first time i went to mexico on the mission trip i accepted God as my savior, and i knew that he loves me and that things happen for a reason and to make me stronger. I believe in the bible and that God sent his son so that we can have a personal relationship and so that i can talk to about whatever i need help with or just to give thanks to him. In growing in my spirituality i know i have the assurance of eternal life. But my walk with him has not been easy, I have turned from him and tried to do things on my own but then I can't cause without him things are harder. And when I confess my sins he forgives me and that is why I love my Jesus so much! After accepting God in my life, I make decisions differently and i treat people bette. I know its hard to love people you don't like but God tells us to love our enemies. My family has always encouraged me to follow Christ and has hepled me with my faith in God. I am very thankful that God that has blessed me with such a family that loves God and puts Him first. When I leave the my house to hang out with friends or go on a trip my dad tells me to know where I'm at with God because you never know when he's gonna come or gonna take you because you are the one that's going to answer to God not anybody else. I am still learning a lot with my walk with God and life has been much easier and peaceful with God in my life.
