After high school I plan to attend the University of Kansas in Lawrence. I will be majoring in Nursing. My mom is a nurse and she has been an inspiration to me. After receiving my Bachelor's degree in nursing I would like to come back to the Navajo Nation to help improve the health care of the Native population. I not only want to help the Native Americans in the Navajo Nation but also over the United States and as a nurse I believe I will be able to do that.

            As I go on to college I will still be growing in my faith. I know there will be many obstacles as I go to Kansas because of the culture change and being on my own, but I know God will be there to help me overcome those obstacles. I believe being away from home and experiencing there is more to the world than where I grew up will help me see God's creation.

            After having a steady job and being able to take care of myself I would like to settle down, get married, and have children. I believe every young woman dreams of that day and I am one of those women. Having a family is important to me and I want to be able to pass the traditions and values I have learned from my family and life experiences to my children. However, this will be in a few years.
