My Goals

A s a child, we have all had goals or dreams of what we wanted to be when we're "grown ups". I had the dreams of becoming a professional basketball player in the WNBA or a NASCAR driver. As i grew older i found out that maybe these goals were not so dependable, so then I wanted to be a photographer, or an entrepeneur, or even a fashion designer.

Sure these careers all are still appealing to me, I have found that I have a passion for teaching. I want to be an elementary teacher teaching children around the 2nd and 3rd grade level. I have had some experiences of teaching as a sunday school teacher at my church. I have also had some minor experience as a teacher's assistant here at Rehoboth. After I graduate this year I am planning to attend the University of New Mexico and major in elementary education. I plan to pursue my bachelor's degree. After I have accomplished recieveing my degree in elementary education, I have my heart set on attending bible college either at Gateway College of Evangelism in Missouri, Indiana Bible College, or Christian Life College in California. At bible college I plan to major in music, which is a passion for me. Whether I plan to become a music teacher or just a plain-jane teacher, is a question that has come up, but I am not sure what I will do. I am also thinking of whether I want to come back to Rehoboth and teach. It would be nice but that is a decision that is sill on the fence. But I do intend on getting married and I want to start my own family. And I also want to continue working in the music, youth and children's ministry at my church.
