Softball Coach

Coach Burrola grew up in Gallup, NM and attended Gallup High School. He is a retired firefighter for the city of Gallup. He has coaching experience that dates back to the 70's. In the 90's he coached little league teams through the 2003 season. Some coaching highlights include leading RCS to a disctrict championship in 2004, leading the 11 and 12 year old boys to a state championship in 2001, and being selected as coach of the year by the Navajo Times in 2004. He has been a long time umpire for little league and high school games and also takes on the special role of coach-player for the "Gallup Old Timers," a 50 and over softball team. Coach Burrola has played baseball, football, fastpitch softball and slowpitch softball.

Coach Burrola's coaching inspiration came from his dad. "My dad loved the game and he spent as much time as possable teaching us how, not only to play the game, but how to play it well, and with that love, support, and patience, he gave us, it also helped me to be where I am today. Thanks DAD"
