My name is Rick Van Til, Sr. and I am excited to introduce myself to you. I have accepted the position as Director of Advancement for RehobothChristianSchool. For the past three years, I have worked for the Christian Reformed Church of North America as a “Development Officer” for Home Missions, working closely with Rehoboth and the RedMesaChurches.

My professional background started in 1973 as a counselor for “at risk” children in the Grand Rapids Public School System, where I worked for 34 years before starting my work for the Christian Reformed Church. I am thrilled about this new path that God has put me on with Rehoboth. I am eager to start my work for RehobothChristianSchool and the many children there who are receiving a quality Christian education. My task will be to communicate to you, a “Partner of Rehoboth,” all of the relevant and exciting events and information that you desire to receive.

At last month’s school board meeting, we received approval to do a “feasibility study” on saving the old RehobothChurch building as a monument of God’s faithfulness to our school. We are excited about this project, as well as other projects on the horizon.

Our Advancement Team now has two part-time regional representatives, one in the Midwest and another in California, while the level of commitment from our local Rehoboth staff remains remarkable.

God has blessed Rehoboth, and through your continued prayer and support, we as a Christian community can be assured of another 100 years of faithful service to students at RehobothChristianSchool.
