Students Give Back

February 02, 2012
By Rehoboth Staff

The elementary school children were able to purchase 6 1/2 wells of clean water through World Vision in the country of Niger as a result of a fundraiser during the holiday. The high school student body donated over $650 during Homecoming week for the 30 hour famine. This Friday night to Saturday morning over 80 high school students will be participating in a 30 hour famine to raise even more for World Vision’s work to overcome hunger in the horn of Africa. I encourage you to support a student with a pledge while they go without food for 30 hours. This cause has become an annual event as our students join others around the world in loving God and fighting hunger. You can learn more at the website – We are thankful to God for the giving spirit of our children!
