Varsity Girls Soccer Come Out Strong

“Were looking forward to a wonderful season with a great group of young ladies,” proclaimed Head Coach Noell Engbers. The Lady Lynx are looking extraordinarily good this season with their strong defense, and viciously speedy offense. The Lady Lynx have proved themselves as very worthy competitors to the top schools after crushing Grants High School Girls Varsity 4-0 last Saturday. Today the intimidating Lady Lynx set off on the lengthy bus ride to the Gallup Public School Stadium to face the Gallup High Lady Bengals at 4:00 pm. So grab your umbrellas and come support your Lady Lynx at 4:00 on Thursday, September 3, at the Public School Stadium.

A bit on the Rehoboth Girls Soccer Team

The Rehoboth Christian School Girls Soccer Team was founded in 2001 after a growing interest in the sport. Since that time the team has gradually grown and matured under the leadership of coach Bill Krzymowski. In the fall of 2007 the Lady Lynx began practicing and playing games on a new turf field on campus. The Lady Lynx compete in New Mexico Class 2A. Check out the schedule and support the Lady Lynx!

Rehoboth Girls Soccer Ends Season

The 2008 girls soccer season came to a close after the Lady Lynx lost to Ruidoso 0-1 during the second day of pool play on Friday, October 31. Great job ladies on a successful season!

Lady Lynx fall to Hope Christian in Pool Play, 3-0

The lady lynx came out of the gate a bit flat on Thursday morning and gave up 3 quick goals to the Hope Christian Huskies on Thursday morning in the first game of pool play. Hope put three in the back of the net within the first 15 minutes of play. From there on out the two teams battled back and forth, but Hope held the advantage. Rehoboth will play Ruidoso on Friday at 10:30. Hope, Ruidoso, and Rehoboth are in a pool and just one team will advance to the New Mexico A-AAA State Soccer Championships which will be held November 6 and 7. Lady Lynx are Playoff Bound

The District Champion Lady Lynx soccer team will be playing at the Bernallio Soccer Complex on Thursday and Friday in playoff soccer. The girls are the fifth seed and will play Hope Christian (4th Seed) on Thursday, October 30 and Ruidoso (9th Seed) on Saturday, November 1. Both games are slated to start at 10:30 AM.  One of these three teams will advance to the semifinals the following week. A few weeks ago the girls brought Hope Christian all the way into the first overtime and ended up losing by a score of 3-2. Support the Lynx as they look to change the outcome of that closely contested match against Hope.
