Maureen Bia began work at Rehoboth Christian School in 2010 and continues to serve as a Title-1 teacher in Rehoboth's middle school. Residing in Gamerco, NM with her husband Vern and nine children.
Growing up in Buffalo, NY, she received her BA from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. Maureen also spent time working with the Peace Corps in the Central African Republic, and later in Zuni and Fort Defiance in New Mexico. In her work at Rehoboth, Maureen most enjoys the students she works with and making a difference in their education, as well as the staff who's influence and example helps her to learn and grow in her faith. She is passionate about working with children and taking care of the less fortunate, as well as her family.
Apart from her work, Maureen enjoys reading and taking pictures. In addition to supporting the ministry of Rehoboth, she and her family also volunteer at St. Joseph's in Gallup, and support Compassion Ministries, and Yezelalem Minch Ministries in Ethiopia.
