Steven Terborg currently serves as the High School Spanish teacher at Rehoboth Christian School. After hearing about Rehoboth through his student teaching with Trinity Christian College, where he holds a BA in Spanish Education, Steven began his work at the school in 2009. Growing up in Evergreen Park, IL, Steven previously owned and ran his own landscaping company. Since being at Rehoboth he has become excited about the positive reactions and results he sees in many students who enjoy his class and what they are learning. He is glad to be apart of the ministry of Rehoboth as it reaches out to all areas of the Four Corners Region and helps in guiding the students and community to have Christ-like lives and academic careers. In addition to his work as Spanish teacher, Steven also coaches volleyball and basketball. Outside of his work at Rehoboth, he is passionate about traveling and discovering the new cultures of God’s creation, and being able to communicate with people in Latin-American countries. He also enjoys exercising and hiking in the area. One nonprofit that Steven supports is World Vision as some of his friends have connections with the organization. Steven considers it his most important goal to be Christ-like in all that he does. He also hopes to become more involved at Rehoboth and continually make his class interesting and fun for his students.
