Cross Country Coach

A native of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, Jeff came to Rehoboth in the Fall of 2007. He was hired to teach a few physical education classes, help transition into the new sport and fitness center, coach, and act as an assistant athletic director. He came to Rehoboth from Western Michigan University where he earned a MA in Sport Administration and Sport Studies and worked as a graduate assistant, teaching physical education classes to undergraduate students. Prior to Western Michigan he spent four years studying at Calvin College. At Calvin Jeff earned a BA in Education with a Physical Education major and participated on the cross country and track and field teams. Jeff ran on two NCAA Division III National Championship cross country teams and earned All American honors in cross country and track his senior year. At Whitinsville Christian School in Central Massachusetts, Jeff competed in cross country and track, played basketball through high school, and played the violin for 12 years.

In 2009 when Myron Postma decided to be an assistant Athletic Director and teach more, Jeff accepted the job of Athletic Director at Rehoboth Christian. Jeff is currently coaching cross country, track and field, and assistant girls basketball coach. When he is not working at Rehoboth, Jeff finds time to work on his Dissertation, the final piece of a PhD in Sport Administration from University of New Mexico he has been working on for the last 3 years. Interests include traveling, hiking, running, being active, and photography. His wife is a teacher at Rehoboth (HS Math and 6th grade) and coaches girls soccer and basketball.
