The 2008 Soccer Season Comes to a Close

In a barn burner of a game, the RCS boys soccer team came up short against a talented Socorro squad, 3-5. Rehoboth had chances to earn the victory, but couldn't quite put it all together in a tight match. Rehoboth was coming off a pool play victory against Desert Valley the day before. Congratulations to the seniors who have put much into the season and soccer careers at Rehoboth.

Boys Soccer Headed to Playoff Pool Play

The Lynx boys soccer team will be playing at the Bernallio Soccer Complex on Friday and Saturday in playoff soccer. The boys are the fifth seed and will play Desert Academy (9th Seed) on Friday, October 31 and Socorro (4th Seed) on Saturday, November 1. Both games are slated to start at 2:00 PM.  One of these three teams will advance to the semifinals the following week. Varsity Boys Soccer Looking Strong

The Lynx boys soccer team led by Coach James Rich and Nick Donkersloot are 14-3 with two games left in the regular season. They have their goals set high as they begin to think about post season play. Last year they finished 3rd in the A-AAA state championships. Support your Lynx as they finish out the regular season and begin tournament play.

2008 Soccer Preview

Our 2007 season proved to be our most successful season thus far. The Lynx finished 3rd in the A-AAA state championships and was a very revealing demonstration of the talent at Rehoboth. By the Lords grace we hope to have an even more successful season in 2008. The fall schedule will be the most challenging as we will compete against schools such as Farmington, Piedra Vista and Socorro who have very strong programs. I invite the entire Rehoboth community to support these young men throughout the fall season.
