GALLUP CHAMBER EVENT IS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER AT REHOBOTH
The lobby of the new Sports and Fitness Center at Rehoboth Christian School was packed Wednesday night as members of the Gallup business community and Rehoboth community gathered for food, fun and fellowships at the Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event.
The night was kicked off by the school’s choir students serenading the event’s 200 plus attendees with beautiful music as guests mingled and ate food provided by Camille’s Sidewalk Café and Glenn’s Old Fashion Bakery. Tours of the new Sports and Fitness Center were offered at this event.
Ron Polinder, Rehoboth’s Executive Director announced that this year’s school enrollment of 448 students was a record in Rehoboth’s 106 year history. He also revealed that a 150 lot subdivision is now being developed at Rehoboth and that these picturesque properties will be put on sale to the public upon completion of the streets and other infrastructure work currently in progress.
The night concluded with door prizes that were donated from various business communities in Gallup, as well as the opening of the Chamber of Commerce’s treasure chest by Rehoboth’s own Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Carol Bremer-Bennett, which netted her a grand prize of over $700. According to Mrs. Bennet and her husband Theo, this pleasant and unexpected blessing will go a long way to helping provide for their child’s tuition at the school!
